Personal Essay on Philosophy of Education

Education as the Main Aspect of Personal Development

Every person has own personality with individual thoughts, views on life, ideas, mind, desires, etc. We not only possess these qualities, but they are at our disposal. We have ability to think, love, control our feelings and use our mind for achieving certain goals. However, not all of our capabilities are given to us at birth. Some are being formed throughout the whole life. Even if you are now a qualified and experienced crackjack in any field, you still can continue to improve your potential, as this process is endless. This is the concept of education in my opinion.

In some sense, studying at some educational institution can be called education, but I expand this to a deeper meaning. For me, it includes all the factors, which can influence the maturing of personality. For example, the first steps we are making under our parents care and they play a major role in the origin of our personality formation. In other words, our mom and dad educate us at the early stages of our development and open outlook on life from their point of view.

Then on our way we encounter more and more factors, each of them contributing into our individuality in one way or another. They can be nature, environment, different social groups, acquired knowledge, relationship with others, hobbies, experience; and the elder the person is, the longer this infinite series can be. Altogether they shape our personality and educate us in certain way.

Thereby, education is the gradual process of acquiring knowledge of theoretical and practical skills. Practise is a very important part of our education. You can know a lot, but if you do not know how to apply your knowledge, you will simply fail. The key role in here is played by teachers and tutors, or any experienced people. They can teach you the most necessary practical skills that you’ll never get through reading mute books.

Personal Essay on Interracial Marriages

The Power of Colorblind Love

When two people meet and look in each other’s eyes, it can happen that from the first moment they somehow know that they belong together. After such a mutual glance, they can notice that they are of different races, seem to have absolutely nothing in common and look nothing alike. But all these physical differences have no sense to their hearts, as once people have fallen in love with each other, they will never break up only because of the racial diversity.

Essay on Woman by Mary Leapor

Small Battle for Women’s Rights

Nowadays no one is surprised when women become presidents or prefer to earn money, while their husbands stay at home with children. Nevertheless, women in England in the 18th century could not even dream of proper education, not to mention such liberties. Though, of course, some of them were indignant at such unfairness and wanted changes.

Descriptive Essay about Love

Miracle of Love

I thought that I was living a happy, merry, exciting and fascinating life, but it’s nothing when compared with the life when you’re in love. One day I realized that my life was black and white and only love was embellishing it with striking colors. What is more, every new day brings new colors, surprising me by their multiformity. It’s like I found myself in a new world, the world just of two persons, where we will live eternally.

Ancient Greece Essay

The Influence of Ancient Greece on Contemporary World

It is no secret that the whole Western Civilization in this or that way stems from the culture that thrived on the Balkan Peninsula more than two thousand years ago and was characterized by unusual level of development of a number of sciences and schools of thought. Ancient Greece was something like a beacon of civilization among the ocean of barbarity – and even the very word “barbarian” was first used by the Greeks and meant every person that did not speak Greek language and thus wasn’t considered to be a member of cultured humanity.
