True Love of Romeo and Juliet

For never was a story of more woe,
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo.

I believe that every single person have read the story about Romeo and Juliet or at least have heard about it. Since early ages Romeo and Juliet are associated with great all-absorbing love and affecting courage.

This catching play tells us the story of two loving hearts that crave for love but whose love was doomed to end up tragically. They did nothing wrong, just fell in love with each other, but at the end of the play they died for the sake of their affecting love. I’m sure that it was not only fate that influenced the outcome of this love story but also their surroundings. And despite Shakespeare’s words about fate: “It is the stars, the stars above us, govern our conditions” I’m definitely sure that it is the Montagues and Capulets who should be blamed for the deaths of their children.

These two young people were victims of constant never-ending fight between two families. Only when their children had died both families understood that this conflict was useless and brought nothing but troubles; only after that did they realize how wrong they were. But at the same time no one knew what would be the end of this story.

Nevertheless, Romeo and Juliet will be forever associated in our minds with sincere romantic love and overpowering passion. The author managed to represent love between Romeo and Juliet as a force of nature, as a power that transcended all societal conventions.
